If you like beer, there’s no place like Munich, Germany to enjoy your hops and barley. The famous Hofbräuhaus takes its visitors from awe-struck to inebriated in no time thanks to the litre-of-beer-only orders of that sweet Bavarian nectar. This beer and sausage hall has a rich history dating back more than 400 years starting out as the royal brewery and watering hole. Even heavy bombings during World War II could not keep the crafty Germans from their beer, rebuilding the beer hall in 1958 in glorious fashion.
