Launch software using your keyboard

August 14th, 2007 · No Comments

Chances are, most people out there are still using their mouse to navigate through the Windows Start Menu to find the programs they use often, or they’ve pinned them to a Quick Launch bar in the taskbar. To skim a few seconds off the time it takes to launch a program check out Launchy. It’s a free utility that allows you to just type the name, or part of the name, for the program/file/song you wish to open and it will do the work for you. It works similar to the windows Run command (Start key + R) but it’s a little smarter and more customizable.

Nice touch: Add your favorites to the list of directories Launchy searches and you can open livvit.com with ease.
